Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Milwaukee (West Allis) is seeking a Telemetry Technician for full-time night shifts in Milwaukee, WI. You will monitor EKG rhythms, respond to alarms, and assist in post-ICU care for chronically ill patients with steady clinical support from a nationwide team.

The role requires completing an EKG class within 30 days and may prefer candidates with a nursing background (LPN/Paramedic/RN student) with EKG training. Excellent growth and benefits accompany this position.

Qualifications

• Must complete and pass EKG class for Monitor Techs within 30 days of start date.
• Pass required competencies on education platform.
• Pass additional tests/competencies as required by Select Medical.

Responsibilities

• Monitor telemetry and respond to alarms promptly and appropriately.
• Verify rhythm interpretations and coordinate with RN.
• Ensure strip interpretations are validated by RN.
