Job summary

Regency Hospital - Macon seeks a Telemetry Technician to monitor patient alarms and interpret EKGs during the night shift, ensuring timely responses and accurate rhythm analysis.

Qualifications

• Must complete and pass EKG class for Monitor Techs within 30 days of start date.
• Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: LPN, Paramedic, or RN nursing student with EKG training.

Responsibilities

• Monitor alarms continuously and ensure timely responses.
• Observe all monitors and respond to alarms promptly.
• Perform EKG interpretations including rate, rhythm, PRI, QRS, QT, ST changes.
• Ensure strip interpretations are validated by a Registered Nurse.
