Job summary

Regency Hospital - Macon is seeking a Telemetry Technician for per diem/PRN shifts. You will monitor patient telemetry, verify alarms, and respond promptly to events to ensure patient safety.

You will perform EKG interpretations including rate, rhythm, PRI, QRS, QT, ST changes, and ensure strip readings are validated by the attending RN.

The role requires completing an EKG class within 30 days of start, and may prefer candidates with an LPN, paramedic, or RN background with EKG training.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include completion of an EKG class within 30 days of start date and required competencies on education platform.
• Preferred qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and a background as LPN, paramedic or RN nursing student with EKG training.
