Job summary

Regency Hospital - Macon is seeking a Telemetry Technician for the full-time night shift (6:30pm-7:00am). The role involves watching patient monitors, responding to alarms, and performing EKG rhythm interpretations with RN validation.

Qualifications

• Must complete and pass EKG class for Monitor Techs within 30 days of start date.
• Pass required competencies on education platform and other tests as required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor alarms, verify correct identification of rhythms and artifacts.
• Maintain EKG monitor alarms and respond to alarms promptly.
• Perform EKG interpretations including rate, rhythm, PRI, QRS, QT, and ST changes.
• Ensure strip interpretations are validated by RN.
