Job summary

Intermountain Health's Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, CO seeks a Telemetry Technician for the full-time night shift (6PM–6:30AM, weekends/holidays). You will monitor patient ECGs, interpret rhythms, and manage telemetry equipment, documenting data for MDT review.

The ideal candidate holds Basic Rhythm Certification and BLS-HCP, with hospital experience preferred. Benefits include health/dental/vision and education assistance; shift differentials apply.

Qualifications

• Basic Rhythm Certification within required timeframe.
• Must pass a basic dysrhythmia test prior to orientation.
• BLS-HCP certification within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythms continuously and ensure accurate ECG readings.
• Interpret ECG data and report changes promptly to RN.
• Prepare, maintain and clean telemetry equipment and leads.
• Document ECG data and rhythm measurements in patient records.
• Track patient locations during off-monitor procedures and ensure rhythm visibility.
• Perform routine crash cart checks at shift start.
• Provide continuity of care by sharing ECG history with new technicians.
• Assist in training new associates on telemetry monitoring.
• Maintain admission/discharge and equipment logbooks.
