Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health’s Johnson 3 Telemetry unit seeks a Registered Nurse to join our inpatient team. The 32-bed unit provides care to patients with stroke, cardio-pulmonary disorders, and acute infections, using telemetry to monitor heart rhythms and guide therapy.

You will assess patients, administer meds, and participate in discharge planning and education for families. BSN preferred with MA RN license and BLS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Massachusetts.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Telemetry experience or successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia Recognition within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Complete assessments, administer medications, wound treatments, monitor progress and adjust therapies.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to plan care.
• Educate patients and families to achieve optimal outcomes.
