Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required
• Successful completion of a monitor technician program within 6 months of hire is required
• Basic computer skills are required

Responsibilities

• View and monitor the cardiac monitor for each patient
• Recognize and report abnormal patterns to the nurse
• Continual monitoring of all patients on cardiac monitors and report any changes to the appropriate nurse

Education
