Holy Cross Health in Silver Spring, MD seeks a Monitor Tech to observe and document patient heart rhythms in the telemetry unit. You will monitor, record and report rhythm activity and ensure AvaSys Telesitter monitoring functions are in order.

Effective communication with care teams is essential. The role emphasizes accurate data transmission, prompt reporting, and coordination with IT and Clinical Engineering to maintain equipment readiness.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Six months' experience interpreting rhythm strips.
• Ability to communicate with medical professionals.
• Equivalent education/work experience acceptable.
• Demonstrated leadership, human relations and organization skills.
• Must hear and verbally communicate on telephone for essential duties.
• Accurate and timely interpretation of patient cardiac rhythms for the care team.

Mansioni

• Monitor heart rhythm patterns of patients in the special care unit.
• Record and report heart rhythm, seizure and fall risk activity for telemetry and AvaSys monitoring.
• Detect abnormal pattern variances using telemetry and monitor systems.
• Review patient information to determine normal/current variant rhythms.
• Transmit information to the healthcare team accurately and promptly.
• Use hospital-wide communication systems and respond to call lights per standards.
