Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required and 18 years of age.
• Previous monitor experience desirable.
• Successful completion of monitor class and Mandatory Reporter training within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Monitors cardiac rhythms on telemetry units.
• Obtains and interprets rhythm strips and reports changes to care team.
• Performs clerical duties (maintain rhythm strips in patient record, answer phones, intercom, notify nurse).
• Maintains telemetry supplies and knowledge of equipment setup and use.
