American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift assignment in Ohio. Candidates must hold an active Ohio or Compact RN license, BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS, with 2 years Med/Surg Telemetry experience and cardiac medication competency.

The role uses MediTech EMR on a 26-bed unit (4-5:1). Benefits include high pay, housing/travel reimbursements, medical insurance, 401(k), and per diem; night shifts are 12 hours with no on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Ohio or Compact, verified through Nursys.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications with NIHSS.
• Minimum 2 years RN experience with Med/Surg Telemetry.
• Competency with cardiac meds including titration and application.
• Telemetry knowledge and stroke procedure familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Staff Med/Surg Telemetry (26 beds, 4-5:1) on night shift (7:00 PM–7:30 AM).
• Utilize MediTech EMR for patient documentation and care planning.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care per age-specific criteria.
• Support and educate LPN/PCT and unit secretaries as needed.
• Maintain Navy blue scrub dress code and adhere to travel policy.
