American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift assignment in Mayfield Heights, OH. Active OH or compact RN license and at least 1 year Med/Surg Telemetry experience required.

Responsibilities include direct patient care on Med/Surg Telemetry, ECG rhythm recognition, and safeMedicate assessments during orientation. Certifications: BLS and ACLS current; NIHSS preferred. Travel expectations and a 3x12 shift schedule apply.

Qualifications

• Active OH RN license or compact license required.
• Minimum 1 year Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• NIHSS certification preferred.
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months.
• No pending certifications accepted; must be active at time of consideration.

Responsibilities

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a hospital setting.
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM-7:30 AM).
• Provide direct patient care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients on the night shift.
• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation, with up to 2 attempts to pass.
