Banner Health is seeking a compassionate Crisis & Intake Therapist to join our behavioral health team in Scottsdale, AZ. You will conduct emergent and non-emergent assessments, determine level of care, and coordinate inpatient and outpatient admissions while collaborating with physicians, nursing staff and community agencies.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling or related field and licensure eligibility.
• License as LMSW/LCSW/LPC/LAC/LASAC/LISAC/LCMFT/MFT or equivalent.
• 2 years of clinical experience in psychotherapy, counseling, or social work.

Responsabilités

• Performs emergent/non-emergent behavioral health assessments and makes level-of-care recommendations.
• Coordinates inpatient/outpatient admissions and discharge planning with the care team.
• Documents in the medical record and coordinates with payers and family.
• Provides crisis stabilization and intervention in rapidly changing situations.
