Job description

We are currently looking for a Night Team Administrator to join our Residential team. The Team Administrator will act in the capacity of the Team Administrator Supervisor in the Team Administrator Supervisors absence, providing leadership, coaching and redirection of staff, in accordance with the Agency’s approved supervision practice. Other duties include but are not limited to:

  • Supervise the Night Team Support Workers (NTSW).
  • Complete all documentation and be responsible for crisis intervention with the children.
  • Safeguard the campus and account for the youth and the staff.
  • Document any occurrences of an unusual nature on an incident report.
  • Contact proper emergency authorities when necessary.
  • Ensure that the youth remain in their room after hours.
  • Counsel the youth and resolve any crisis or problems.
  • Document events for the day staff follow-up.
  • Utilize supervision for success model with TSW’s.
  • Model and support Trauma Informed Care with children.
  • Interpret policy of the administration as it concerns the staff he/she directly supervises and ensures that the policy is followed throughout the daily development of the program.

Skills/Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED at a minimum, in addition to one or more of the following: Bachelor’s Degree in the Social Sciences or Child Development, Previous experience as an employee or volunteer at a group home, STRTP, or substance abuse treatment program for at least one year; “Lived” experience in the child welfare, mental health, juvenile justice, or developmental disabilities system as a consumer or caregiver; Minimum of one hundred (100) hours of relevant experience working with youth as a mentor, athletic coach, teacher, vocational coach, tutor or counselor.
  • Experience working in a facility/program similar to Trinity or one involved with the counseling, education, or recreation of youth is preferred.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older and able to pass a physical examination; drug clearance; criminal background check and Child Abuse Index check.
  • Must possess a valid California driver’s license with clean DMV history and the ability to safely operate a motor vehicle and be insurable by Trinity’s insurance carrier.
  • Should have an interest in working directly with youth in accordance with the general requirements as established in the California Administrative Code, Title 22.
  • Must communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing in English.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.

Pay Rate: $17.50 per hour.

Schedule: Sunday – Wednesday from 10:00PM – 8:00AM
