Job Description

Supervisory & cleaning experience IS REQUIRED!

Role Duties

1. Carry out regular cleaning inspections, address areas where cleaning standards do not meet required standards, record cleaning audits.
2. Work closely with management to ensure cleaning standards are maintained, using good communication.
3. Assist staff in monitoring equipment, ensuring all is operating correctly and safely.
4. Monitor supplies and ensure janitor closets are stocked and tidy.
5. Train new team members on proper cleaning methods and routines to meet IFS standards.
6. Monitor team timekeeping and attendance, escalate concerns to management.
7. Identify development needs, set targets, and evaluate training needs for the team.
8. Assist in implementing company policies with management/HR.
9. Follow health & safety procedures, escalate concerns, and ensure safety training for staff.
10. Identify and correct hazardous conditions, assist in accident investigations.
11. Represent IFS values on site: be presentable, uniformed, helpful, and willing to go the extra mile.

Person Specification

• Supervisory & cleaning experience IS REQUIRED.
