Job summary

Walmart Inc. in Bloomington, MN seeks a leader to drive store operations and associate development.

You will supervise and coach hourly team members, manage budgets, optimize merchandising, and lead change initiatives while delivering outstanding customer service using Walmart’s OBW model. You’ll review financials, forecast and control expenses, coordinate with stakeholders, and foster a culture of belonging, continuous learning, and performance.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• For facilities that sell firearms, CBC may be required upon application for certain locations.
• Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (for example Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Leads and develops teams by teaching, training and feedback to associates in stores.
• Manages customer service initiatives and ensures customer needs and issues are resolved.
• Oversees budget, forecasting, and expense control to align with sales goals.
• Drives store performance, merchandising, inventory flow and shrink mitigation.
• Coordinates with stakeholders and promotes a culture of belonging and continuous learning.

Education

2 years of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
