Job summary

Hy-Vee, Inc. is seeking an Overnight Stocker to support the Grocery department during overnight hours. You will unload trucks, stock shelves, rotate products, and ensure shelves are ready for morning customers.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds. Prior experience is preferred, and you will work with a team under the supervision of store leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Up to six months of related experience preferred.
• Physically able to perform the duties including lifting up to 100 pounds and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly and helping them find what they need.
• Assist customers with finding products, reaching items, carrying heavy purchases, and passing along feedback to the team.
• Unload trucks, stock shelves, rotate product to ensure freshness, and organize back room stock.
• Monitor for mis-picked items, product outs, and wrong deliveries, and report issues accordingly.
• Tag shelves with overstock in the back room and understock drawers.
• Communicate with scanning coordinator for system input and updates.
• Work with teammates to ensure a smooth, efficient overnight operation.
• Maintain Hy-Vee dress code, hygiene standards, and all company policies.
