No prior experience required; training provided. You’ll follow instructions, use basic math, assist customers, stay organized, and uphold Hy-Vee standards including dress code and safety policies. This team-focused role offers physical work with a reliable schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Up to six months of similar or related experience preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math skills including fractions, decimals, and percentages.
• Strong communication with customers and teammates.
• Stay organized and keep pace of overnight shift.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly and helping them find what they need
• Assist customers with finding products, reaching items, carrying heavy purchases, and relaying feedback to the team
• Unload trucks, stock shelves, rotate product for freshness
• Monitor mis-picked items, product outs, and wrong deliveries
• Organize stock for efficiency and restock damaged items
• Tag shelves with overstock in the back room and understock drawers
• Report new or different items to the scanning coordinator for system input
• Work with teammates for a smooth overnight operation
• Maintain dress code, hygiene, and company policies
• Assist in other store areas and take on special projects
