Job summary

Safeway is hiring a Stocker to keep shelves filled and the store ready for customers. Day shifts involve stocking, organizing shelves, and helping customers locate items; overnight shifts focus on deliveries, restocking, and display resets with no customer traffic.

The role also includes moving products from backroom, rotating inventory, and maintaining clean, organized work areas while following safety guidelines. Previous retail or stocking experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and balers following training and safety guidelines.
• Basic math and communication skills required.
• Availability to work flexible shifts including daytime, evening, overnight, weekends, and holidays.
• Compliance with company policies including safety, sanitation, and dress standards.
• Prior retail, stocking, or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves and assist customers on the sales floor.
• Prepare the store for overnight shifts: deliveries, stocking, and resets.
• Move products from backroom to sales floor and rotate inventory.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow safety procedures.
• Adhere to stocking processes and support daily store operations.
