Eaglecrest Ski Area is hiring a snowcat operator for the 2026/2027 winter season. The role requires experience grooming with snowcats or heavy equipment, and the ability to follow directions from the lead groomer within a small crew.

Responsibilities include nightly grooming of trails, operating heavy equipment, and maintaining safety and snow conditions in various weather. A valid driver's license and willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays are essential.

Qualifications

• Skier or snowboarder with snowcat or heavy equipment operating experience.
• Able to take direction from the lead groomer and work as part of a team.
• Must be able to work a schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Groom mountains nightly to prepare slopes for operations.
• Operate snowcat and other groomer equipment safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with a small two-to-three person crew to shape trails and manage snow quality.
