Mercy Washington in Washington, MO is seeking a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist for the Night Shift. You’ll perform overnight sleep studies, calibrate equipment, and work as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing on respiratory care.

Qualifications

• Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Required: Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT).
• Preferred: Graduate of an accredited polysomnography program.
• Required: BLS (AHA) within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform overnight sleep studies including polysomnography, CPAP/BiPAP titration, split-night protocols, and MSLT.
• Prepare and calibrate equipment per AASM standards.
• Monitor patients during the night and respond to clinical events.
• Score studies and produce detailed reports.
• Educate patients on sleep disorders and PAP therapy.
• Maintain equipment and follow infection control protocols.
• Document all care in the EMR.
