Job summary

Arkansas Children's Hospital is seeking a Sleep Technologist for the Sleep Lab at the Springdale Campus on the night shift (Thu-Sat, 7p-7a). Graduation from a Sleep Technology (Polysomnography) program is required.

Performs diagnostic and therapeutic sleep studies, monitors patients, scores sleep stages, and collaborates with the care team to provide high-quality patient care. BRPT certification and pols tech credentials recommended.

Qualifications

• Graduation from Sleep Technology (Polysomn) program required.
• Experience with sleep study scoring according to AASM guidelines preferred.
• Candidate demonstrates patient-centered care and safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and effective patient care addressing age-specific needs.
• Monitor patients during sleep studies and score sleep stages per AASM guidelines.
• Prepare patients for sleep studies and apply sensing equipment.
• During sleep studies, monitor patient and record data.
• Collaborate with team to coordinate care across departments.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment compliant with standards.
• Provide feedback and initiate improvements to patient care/work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
