Job summary

Washington Regional Medical System in Fayetteville, AR, seeks a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment support for patients with sleep disorders. The role performs in-center polysomnography and home sleep apnea testing, delivers diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, and ensures accurate data acquisition and scoring.

You will calibrate equipment, perform sensor hookup per AASM standards, monitor patients, and document findings for providers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of A-STEP educational modules administered through the AASM.
• National sleep credential required: RST, RPSGT, SDS, or CPSGT.
• Experience in a sleep lab and patient education, PAP titration, and scoring is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, calibrate, and troubleshoot sleep lab equipment to ensure accurate recordings.
• Complete patient intake and orientation with consent verification and documentation.
• Apply sensors and hook up patients according to AASM standards.
• Monitor patients during testing and respond to events to support data quality.
• Score and annotate studies for provider interpretation and assist onboarding/training.
