Job summary

Connecticut Children's is seeking a Sleep Technologist for Hartford/Farmington/Glastonbury, night shift. You will perform polysomnography and educate patients under supervision of the Sleep Medical Director and Sleep Center Manager.

Responsibilities include electrode placement, data collection, scoring, monitoring, and teaching patients. Sleep Technologist oversight of night shift staff is included.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma.
• Education preferred: 2 years college.
• Experience preferred: Healthcare and Pediatric experience a plus.
• RT/CRT experience is a plus.
• CPR or BLS certification within 1 month of hire.

Responsibilities

• Collect data and identify patient needs; follow physician orders and protocols.
• Apply surface electrodes and explain testing procedures to the patient.
• Maintain, calibrate and prepare equipment for testing; ensure proper function.
