Job summary

LCMC Health is seeking a Polysomnography Technologist to prepare the lab for patients, set up procedures, and perform basic to advanced sleep studies. The role includes assisting in orientation and training of other staff in the department.

The ideal candidate will have a approved CAAHEP Polysomnography program or at least 6 months of sleep medicine experience, plus BLS certification and applicable licensure in sleep technology.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CAAHEP Polysomnography Program or a minimum of 6 months of experience in sleep medicine or respiratory procedures.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
• Current license as Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT/BRPT/ABMS pathway) or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the lab for patients and set up for sleep studies.
• Perform basic and advanced diagnostic sleep studies and assist in training staff.
