Job summary

RK Industries is seeking an experienced Welder to join our Texas fabrication team. You will perform high-quality welding and fabrication per CAD/FAB and Energy procedures, ensuring products meet customer expectations and industry standards.

Responsibilities include blueprint reading, weld set-up, fixture creation, inspection, and adherence to safety and Lean improvements. Opportunities exist for leadership and advanced welding paths.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification a plus.
• 3-5 years welding experience with FCAW/MIG preferred.
• 6G welding certification required; ASME piping/vessel exposure.
• Ability to read blueprints and perform X-ray quality welds.

Responsibilities

• Operate welding and fabrication machinery and hand tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and weld symbols.
• Create weldment setups and fixturing to meet geometry.
• Inspect products and document results; maintain equipment.
• Follow safety rules and Lean/Continuous Improvement efforts.
• Lead teams or mentor juniors as needed.
