Job summary

Moeller Precision Tool is seeking an experienced Wire EDM Operator for our night shift in Tennessee. Earn $26.25-$31.25 per hour, with a $2.25 night shift premium and weekly overtime opportunities in a clean, climate-controlled precision machining environment.

Responsibilities include setting up and operating Wire EDM machines, loading materials, reading blueprints, verifying dimensions, and maintaining tight tolerances. Requires 2+ years of related experience and tool steel know-how.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Wire EDM or related machining experience.
• Experience working with tool steel strongly preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.).
• Experience holding tight tolerances on precision components.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and basic math skills.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience with Mitsubishi, Makino, Fanuc, or similar Wire EDM equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Wire EDM machines.
• Load material and fixtures for production runs.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Verify dimensions and maintain tight tolerances.
• Perform machine offsets and make program adjustments as needed.
• Inspect finished components using precision measuring equipment.
• Maintain quality standards and production requirements.
• Work with tool steel and hardened materials.
