Job summary

Capital Electric, part of the Sonepar group, is seeking a Wire Cutting/Warehouse Manager (Night Shift) to oversee wire cutting, measurement accuracy, quality control, and inventory flow within the Distribution Center. This role ensures the efficient and safe operation of wire cutting machinery, coordination with warehouse and logistics teams, and adherence to production schedules and customer requirements .

Shift Start: 4pm-5pm. Salary range listed: $86,000 - $127,000 with bonus potential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in warehouse/logistics or electrical distribution.
• 1–2 years in a supervisory or lead role preferred.
• Experience with automated wire cutting machines and reel management.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and barcode scanning.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily wire cutting operations to meet production and order fulfillment goals.
• Schedule workloads, assign tasks, and monitor performance across shifts.
• Ensure efficient material flow between receiving, cutting, and shipping areas.
• Coordinate with Inventory, Picking, and Shipping to align wire orders with outbound schedules.
• Monitor output for precision, length accuracy, and quality before packaging.
• Track productivity, efficiency and scrap rates; identify inefficiencies.
• Lead and develop warehouse associates and salary team.
• Train Wire Cutting Associates and Operators on safety and quality standards.
• Conduct daily start-up meetings and communicate performance targets.
• Foster accountability, continuous improvement, and teamwork.
• Manage scheduling, timekeeping, and performance reviews.
