Job summary

Capital Electric, part of the Sonepar family, is seeking a Wire Cutting Manager (Night Shift) in Maryland to oversee wire cutting operations, ensure accuracy, quality control, and smooth inventory flow in the Distribution Center.

Responsibilities include leading a team of wire cutting associates, coordinating with warehouse and logistics, and ensuring adherence to production schedules and customer requirements. Strong leadership and technical aptitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3-5 years in warehouse/logistics or electrical distribution; 1-2 years in a supervisory role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily wire cutting operations to meet production and order fulfillment goals.
• Schedule workloads, assign tasks, and monitor performance across all wire cutting shifts.
• Ensure efficient material flow between receiving, cutting, and shipping areas.
• Maintain real-time coordination with Inventory, Picking, and Shipping departments to align wire orders with outbound schedules.
• Monitor output for precision, length accuracy, and quality assurance before packaging.
• Track and report productivity, efficiency, and scrap rates; identify and correct process inefficiencies.
