Job summary

Sequel Wire and Cable LLC in Argos, IN is seeking an Extrusion Operator to oversee insulation extrusion equipment (PVC/CV). You will perform set-ups, operate machinery, monitor processes, and ensure safety and quality in a 24/7 production environment.

Starting pay begins at $20.00 per hour, with higher rates for relevant experience. This full-time role reports to the Plant Manager and requires ability to work a rotating schedule, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Manufacturing experience preferred, wire/cable a plus.
• Ability to read and understand work orders and SOPs.
• Computer experience is desired.

Responsibilities

• Operate extrusion machinery and equipment.
• Read and comprehend production work orders and SOPs.
• Move materials using forklift and overhead cranes.
• Complete quality tests and required paperwork.
• Maintain safety and keep work area clean.
• Enter production information and generate labels.
• Meet production and quality goals and standards.
