Job summary

Wingstop is seeking a motivated cook to join our Wilmington, DE kitchen. You will prepare Wingstop menu items to Wingstop standards, ensuring flavor and quality across shifts and days. A focus on food safety and hygiene, plus teamwork, helps keep guests happy with every order.

Experience as a line cook or similar is preferred; a Food Handler Certification is required to comply with health and safety guidelines. Flexible scheduling and opportunities to grow are part of our culture.

Qualifications

• Professional cooking: 1 year (Preferred)
• Cooking: 1 year (Preferred)
• Line cook: 1 year (Preferred)
• Food Handler Certification required

Responsibilities

• Ensure that each guest has a positive, long lasting impression of the Wingstop experience
• Ability to practice safe cooking procedures
• Quickly scan and comprehend the order tickets
• Accurately count the number of Wing portions and fries for each order
• Coordinate the cooking time of wings and fries with the timer
• Sauce, season and package all orders per Wingstop standards
• Maintain accurate counts of cooked wings and strips
• Cook and prepare items in the proper fryers and baskets
• Keep the kitchen clean and orderly throughout and after shifts
• Follow directions given by Manager or Supervisor
