Job summary

ManpowerGroup in Houston, TX is seeking a Welder to join the production team. The role covers full-time, on-site welding for production and prototype parts, with emphasis on maintaining welding qualifications and meeting certification requirements.

The ideal candidate will handle stainless steel and precious metals using TIG/MIG, set up fixtures, and support testing and quality control, including destructive/non-destructive tests, with overtime/weekend possibilities.

Qualifications

• Weld to certification requirements and maintain qualifications per product needs.
• Comfort working with stainless steel and precious or semi-precious metals.
• Support both production and prototype work including setup and fixture prep.
• Follow testing and quality expectations including destructive/non-destructive tests.

Responsibilities

• Welds production and prototype parts using TIG and MIG.
• Operate program welding machine when needed and assist operator.
• Perform welding tests to meet certification requirements.
• Set up fixtures and layout work for accurate assembly.
• Provide production support to keep operations moving.
