Job summary

Cust-O-Fab is seeking experienced Welders to join our fabrication team on the shop floor. You will read blueprints and AutoCAD drawings, set up welding equipment, and perform welding processes to produce parts for heat exchangers, pressure vessels, and towers.

Safety, quality, and productivity are essential as you maintain weld qualifications, inspect welds, and work with Quality Control to meet specifications.

Qualifications

• Reading blueprints and weld procedures
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, AutoCAD drawings, weld procedures, and weld symbols.
• Ability to follow welding procedures and produce welds that meet applicable quality standards and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, AutoCAD drawings, weld procedures, and weld symbols.
• Set up and operate welding equipment and perform required welding processes.
• Weld components for heat exchangers, pressure vessels, and towers according to approved procedures and applicable codes.
• Maintain a weld qualification and inspect welds to meet quality standards, working with Quality Control.
