Job summary

Westerman is seeking a skilled welder for a night shift at the Casper, Wyoming facility. The role requires on-site work in the shop and living within reasonable commuting distance.

A $2,500 sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates and relocation assistance can be discussed during interviews. Primary duties include reading blueprints, welding structural steel, rigging, and fabricating metal parts per specifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year welding experience.
• Must pass weld assessment screening, including 3G Plate and 2 processes with visual and bend acceptance.

Responsibilities

• Read specifications or blueprints to determine locations, quantities, or sizes of materials.
• Bolt aligned structural steel members in position for riveting, bolting, or welding.
• Welds components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
• Welding of separators, glycol absorbers, piping large and heavy wall vessels and flow coils; perform QA welds such as x-ray.
• Dismantle structures or equipment as needed.
