Job summary

SA Recycling is seeking a Welder for the Night Shift to repair and maintain a metal recycling shredder and related equipment. You will weld steel components with ARC and MIG processes, cut, trim and fabricate parts from prints, and perform flame cutting, bending and notching as needed while keeping a clean, safe work area.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years welding experience, a high school diploma or GED (trade school preferred), knowledge of metal properties, and the ability to work at heights

Qualifications

• 3+ years of welding experience (MIG/ARC) on varied metals.
• Recycling industry experience preferred.
• Knowledge of welding fabrication tools and techniques.
• Ability to work at heights and in tight spaces; safety minded.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance of a metal recycling shredder and other equipment.
• Weld various steel components with ARC and MIG equipment.
• Cut, trim, fit and fabricate parts to required dimensions.
• Flame cutting, bending, forming, beveling, notching of metal and plastic.
• Maintain records and work from prints and instructions.
• Keep a clean, safe work area compliant with OSHA standards.
