Qualifications

• Read and interpret basic welding blueprints and instructions.
• Assist Welder I/II with welding tasks.

• Learn and apply proper handling of welding materials and tools.
• Support training and mentoring of new helpers as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist Welder I/II in various welding tasks.
• Prepare workpieces by cleaning, grinding, and scraping.
• Set up welding equipment and tools under supervision.
• Handle and store welding materials and equipment properly.
• Operate power and hand tools under guidance.
• Read basic welding blueprints and instructions.
• Assist in tack welding components for final welds.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment.
• Follow safety procedures at all times.
