Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of offset printing procedures, materials, and safety.
• Ability to read and interpret job specifications and determine press setup.
• Perform routine operational maintenance and minor repairs to equipment.
• Knowledge of color reproduction and registration for different press runs.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex job instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate web printing press to produce quality production and lead press crew.
• Set up, adjust, operate, and maintain Litho Press, inline double web, and multi-color presses.
• Complete make-ready tasks: hang plates, install cylinders, inspect plates for imperfections.
• Perform color corrections and press adjustments to meet quality specs.
• Clean, lubricate, and maintain the press; perform minor repairs as needed.
• Maintain a preventive maintenance program and document run data.
• Promote a safe, injury-free work environment and oversee press crew activities.
• Coordinate with prepress, maintenance, and other crews to ensure smooth production.
• Lead and train other employees as assigned.
