Job summary

RRD is seeking a dynamic Press Operator 2 for our Elk Grove Village facility. You will operate a Litho press and inline/M10/web presses, set up for runs, perform make-ready, and ensure color accuracy and print quality. You will lead a press crew, document outputs, and maintain equipment while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of offset printing procedures, materials and safety requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret job specifications and determine press usage and materials.
• Experience with press setup, make-ready, and color adjustments.

Responsibilities

• Operate web printing press to print quality production and lead press crew.
• Set up and maintain Litho and related presses.
• Perform make-ready tasks: hang plates, adjust blankets, check tension and color registration.
• Ensure product quality, document time, materials, and run speeds.
• Maintain press and perform routine preventive maintenance and safety duties.
