Job summary

Barrett Distribution Centers is seeking a Wave Planner to release work to the floor and track wave progress, ensuring on-time ship schedules. The role reports to Sr Wave Planner/Sr Ops and operates Sunday through Thursday, 4pm–12:30am, in Olive Branch, MS, with a base pay of $18.50/hr plus a $0.75/hr shift differential.

Proficiency in WMS and MS Office is required. The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years in warehouse operations or related fields, with Wave Planning experience preferred and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years’ experience in related field or warehouse ops preferred.
• Wave Planning experience strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of WMS preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office apps (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Ability to read/write/communicate in English; Spanish/English a plus.

Responsibilities

• Release work to the floor and track progress of waves to meet business needs.
• Prioritize daily schedule and generate reports to monitor performance.
• Assist with management of pick tickets and issuing to departments.
• Collaborate with Operations to ensure replenishment and release orders on the floor.
• Communicate with internal/external partners to resolve issues.
• Participate in continuous improvement and safety programs.
• Evaluate systems for effectiveness and suggest changes.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
