Job summary

AVANTech, LLC is seeking a machine operator to prepare production equipment and assist with changeovers for our water-treatment manufacturing operations in New York.

You will read orders, blueprints, and mill schedules, set up equipment, monitor processes, and ensure safety and quality. The role is hourly, non-exempt, with shift hours from 4:00pm to 2:30am and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; additional education preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of water jet, brake press, or plasma/laser table experience.
• Ability to read orders, blueprints, and mill schedules.

Responsibilities

• Prepare production equipment and assist with equipment setup and changeovers.
• Maintain machine operation by solving production problems and reporting data to supervisor.
• Read orders/blueprints/mill schedules to determine setup specs and ensure safety and quality.
