Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Three hours of college-level chemistry or equivalent wastewater/industrial wastewater experience (preferred).
• One or more years as a laboratory technician preferred (environmental, wastewater, or industrial setting).

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming trucks and verify information on offloading tickets and manifests.
• Perform routine chemical and physical analysis of wastewater samples from incoming tankers to ensure compliance.
• Prepare solutions, standards, and reagents for laboratory analyses per SOP.
• Conduct monthly inventory of chemicals, reagents, and supplies essential to lab operation.
• Maintain equipment and apparatus used in all tests and analyses.
