PLA Supply Chain Services seeks a dedicated Team Leader to guide a night shift team toward production goals while ensuring safety and compliance. You will work with facility management to align the team with shared objectives and drive continuous improvement.

Founded in 1989, PLA is a national pallet management and 3PL provider with extensive facilities across the US. The role offers full benefits, daily/weekly pay options, and advancement opportunities up to a defined wage progression.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's Degree preferred but not required.
• Experience: 6+ months in a leadership or similar role.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with all staff and partners.
• Analytical skills for reviews of reports and improvement actions.
• Understanding of safety, quality and efficiency in operations.

Responsibilities

• Training personnel to meet production and safety standards.
• Conducting inspections to ensure pallets meet specs and quality.
• Ensure safety policies and procedures are followed.
• Help the team meet daily production goals with clear direction.
• Prepare reports, correct discrepancies, and manage pallet inventory.
• Coordinate shift transitions and work area setup.
• Collaborate with site management on training and safety needs.
• Communicate with internal/external management and ensure quality from customer expectations.
• Support ongoing HR tasks like scheduling, timekeeping, and reviews.
