Caterpillar's Clayton Distribution Center is seeking a Warehouse Associate Team Lead to supervise daily operations, coach staff, and ensure safety, quality, velocity and cost goals.

You will lead cross-functional meetings, coordinate with logistics and carriers for expedited shipments, and drive continuous improvement through metrics and reports.

This role requires the ability to read, write and conduct business in English and to work the Third Shift, Monday through Friday, 11:00 pm to 7:00 am.

• Safety: Conducts daily safety checks and logs.
• Warehouse Management: Directs basic warehousing activities and maintains inventory records; trains on real-time inventory systems.
• Customer Service Management: Keeps customer as the focal point of all team activity.
• Coaching Others: Provides feedback and coaching opportunities for skill improvement.
• Effective Communications: Communicates clearly and leads process improvement discussions.

Responsabilidades

• Operate heavy equipment including sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, and overhead hoists; perform warehousing tasks such as unloading, sorting, put away, picking, packing and shipping.
• Lead meetings with multifunctional team to track performance and drive results; set daily priorities and manage change.
• Coordinate with logistics and external carriers to set up expedited shipments and manage zones; investigate root causes of issues.
• Oversee day-to-day operations and monitor safety, quality, velocity, and cost metrics; ensure safety policies are followed.
• Maintain training matrix and drive continuous improvement across the team.
