Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for a night shift at a customer site in Denver. The role will coordinate Friday through Monday operations, overseeing daily warehouse and cross-dock tasks to ensure on-time freight handling.

You will lead warehouse staff, enforce safety standards, and monitor key performance indicators while collaborating with carriers, operations leaders, and customers to maintain service levels and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising warehouse teams and daily operations.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and incident investigations.
• Familiar with MHE certification and safe forklift operation.
• Strong communication with carriers, customers, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse and cross-dock operations.
• Ensure freight is received, sorted, staged, and loaded accurately and on time.
• Monitor inbound/outbound performance and dock schedules.
• Lead shift handoffs and operational meetings.
• Coach staff on productivity, safety, and performance expectations.
• Maintain housekeeping and warehouse organization standards.
• Manage staffing levels, schedules, and overtime to control labor costs.
• Resolve shipment discrepancies and communicate status updates.
