Maersk in Denver, CO is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations at a customer site. The role requires coordinating dock schedules, supervising staff, and driving safety and productivity improvements in a night shift setting.

You will manage labor resources, ensure accurate receiving and shipping, and uphold OSHA standards while coordinating with transportation teams and customers. This role focuses on continuous improvement and reliable, safe operations.

Shift - Night Shift / Graveyard Schedule - Friday through Monday

The position is at a Customer Site Location.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily warehouse and cross-dock operations.

Ensure freight is received, sorted, staged, and loaded accurately and on time.

Monitor outbound and inbound shipment performance.

Coordinate dock schedules to meet customer and transportation requirements.

Leadership Supervise warehouse associates, leads, and material handlers.

Assign daily work tasks and labor resources.

Coach employees on productivity, safety, and performance expectations.

Conduct training, performance discussions, and disciplinary actions when needed.

Safety & Compliance

Enforce OSHA standards and company safety policies.

Conduct safety observations, audits, and incident investigations.

Ensure employees are certified and trained on MHE (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.).

Maintain compliance with operational and regulatory requirements.

Productivity & Performance

Monitor KPIs such as: Trailer turnaround time On-time shipping performance Inventory accuracy Labor productivity Safety metrics Quality/error rates.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and increase efficiency.

Staffing & Labor Management

Manage staffing levels based on volume forecasts.

Create schedules and approve timecards.

Control overtime and labor costs.

Partner with HR on hiring, attendance management, and employee relations.

Inventory & Quality Control

Ensure accurate product handling and inventory transactions.

Resolve shipment discrepancies and damages.

Investigate inventory variances.

Maintain housekeeping and warehouse organization standards.

Customer & Stakeholder Communication

Communicate with transportation teams, carriers, operations leaders, and customers.

Escalate operational issues and provide status updates.

Lead shift handoffs and operational meetings.

Leadership Expectations

An effective XDT Warehouse Supervisor is expected to: Meet service level commitments.

Maintain a safe operation.

Improve productivity and labor efficiency.

Develop frontline employees.

Reduce turnover and attendance issues.

Ensure operational compliance and quality standards.

Leaders at this level manage employees day-to-day and set priorities to ensure task completion.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $80k to 85k annually *The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
