Job summary

Fabuwood-Cabinetr in Newark, NJ, seeks a Night Shift CNC Manager to lead CNC manufacturing operations, ensuring safe, consistent, and efficient production results. This role partners with the Day Shift CNC Manager, Production, Quality, and Maintenance to maintain strong operations across shifts.

You will oversee approximately 10 CNC machines, two edge-banders, and supporting equipment to meet daily production goals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience with supervisors and production staff.
• Hands-on CNC machining or high-volume production background.
• Proven ability to reduce downtime and improve productivity.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills for night shift.
• Experience with cabinet manufacturing or woodworking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop night shift supervisors and operators.
• Own night shift CNC production performance including safety and quality.
• Oversee multiple CNC machines and edge-banders to meet daily goals.
• Manage staffing, overtime, workflow, and priorities.
• Identify root causes with Maintenance to improve uptime.
• Review data to drive output and efficiency improvements.
• Provide daily shift reports and handoffs to the Day Shift Manager.
