Johns Manville is hiring for a Warehouse Shipper Receiver on the night shift in Scottsboro, AL. This full-time role reports to the warehouse team and involves unloading and loading materials, coordinating shipping/receiving tasks, and contributing to inventory accuracy.

The position requires ability to operate heavy equipment, pass safety programs including Hazmat handling, and maintain safe, organized work cells. Benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Must tolerate heat/cold and outdoor conditions.
• Good vision, hearing, speaking and finger dexterity.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment.
• Ability to set up and follow simple work plans and communicate with co-workers.
• Basic computer skills are necessary.
• Must pass forklift and plant safety program tests including Hazmat Handling.

Responsabilités

• Unload incoming materials essential for the roofing package.
• Coordinate other activities related to service quality.
• Unload and load trucks for shipping and receiving.
• Complete shipping and receiving paperwork as required.
• Participate in physical inventory counts.
• Load and unload materials for shipping the roof package.
• Verify orders prior to loading.
• Pick and organize items required for shipping orders.
• Move pallets from inventory racking using equipment.
• Operate forklift to move materials as required.
• Assist others when needs arise.
• Inspect mobile equipment and complete checklists.
• Follow safety procedures and report hazards.
• Wear protective clothing and equipment as required.
