Job summary

Sanoh-America-Inc. is seeking a Material Handler for 2nd shift in Scottsboro, AL. The role focuses on safe loading/unloading of trucks, accurate inventory transactions, and strict FIFO discipline to support both receiving and shipping.

You will assist production by delivering materials and moving finished goods to shipment areas, while maintaining accurate records and a clean, organized workspace on the manufacturing floor.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills.
• Time management and prioritization of tasks.
• Basic reading and writing abilities.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, procedures and policies.
• Understand and adhere to company policies and safety procedures, including forklift safety and licensing.
• Ability to use a handheld RF system.
• Solid computer skills to use the inventory control system.

Responsibilities

• Unload inbound trucks safely and load outbound trucks while recording accurate inventory transactions.
• Deliver materials to production and remove finished goods for shipment, ensuring correct locations and FIFO compliance.
• Maintain clean, safe staging/storage areas using 5S principles.
• Follow production process instructions and safety/hazardous materials procedures as trained.
