Job summary

The SIGOOK® - STAFFING team seeks an experienced Warehouse Safety Supervisor for a Rockville, VA project supporting a major warehouse startup. You will lead safety activities, conduct daily briefings, and ensure OSHA compliance on a night shift.

You will train staff, monitor PPE usage, and coordinate with operations and staffing agencies. This 2-month assignment may be W2 or independent contractor (1099) with a $27/hour base, 30–40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 Certification is required and must be current.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• At least 1 year of safety experience in warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics.
• Ability to conduct safety meetings and orientations.
• Comfortable with basic Microsoft Office tools and Windows devices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily safety briefings and pre-shift meetings.
• Monitor areas for OSHA compliance and site rules.
• Ensure proper PPE usage and safe operations of MHE.
• Investigate accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
• Coordinate emergency response and maintain safety records.
