Job summary

Performance Foodservice in Cedar Rapids is hiring for a night shift warehouse associate. You will select cases and other containers to fill customer orders from multi-level warehouse racks, using an electric pallet jack/forklift to move pallets to the loading dock.

Training will accompany eligibility for benefits and a comprehensive orientation. Responsibilities include following safety guidelines, operating pallet equipment, meeting productivity standards, and assisting with paperwork at shift

Qualifications

• Must be able to work scheduled shifts including overtime.
• Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly.
• Able to lift up to 60–100 lbs depending on location and job task.
• Able to operate in multi-temperature environments (dry, cooler, freezer).
• Able to pass post-offer drug test and background check.
• EPJ certification required within training period.

Responsibilities

• Select cases and containers to fill customer orders from warehouse storage.
• Move completed orders to loading dock staging area using pallet jack/forklift.
• Wrap, label and prepare orders for shipment observing safety regs and quality standards.
• Collaborate with team to maintain efficient product flow and safety.
