Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. is hiring for a Warehouse Operator to support our 24/7 manufacturing operation in the United States. The role focuses on safe loading/unloading, FIFO inventory control, and efficient material handling with a forklift and pallet jacks.

Candidates should have 1 year of forklift experience, be able to obtain forklift certification, and operate SAP and other warehouse tools. Strong math, communication skills, and attendance are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of demonstrated lift truck operation experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification.
• Experience in warehouse operations and shipping/receiving.
• Food manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Strong math and computer skills, SAP a plus.
• Good verbal and written communication; reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload finished goods per customer orders and specs.
• Accurate FIFO inventory control to maximize product dates and rotation.
• Operate material handling equipment including lift trucks and pallet jacks.
• Use warehouse management software, inventory scanning, and related tools.
• Load trailers and follow SOPs, health, safety, and GMP requirements.
• Perform pre/post load inspections and maintain shipping/receiving records.
• Cross-train with other departments and assist audits as needed.
• Adhere to safety procedures and Saputo ethics and values.
